Para acceder a este sitio se debe de tomar la Carretera Federal No. 70 Aguascalientes - Calvillo continuando hasta Jaltiche de Arriba, de ahí se sigue por un camino de 16 kilómetros de terracería hacia la Comunidad de Los Alisos. A una altura de 1640 msnm, Calvillo se encuentra rodeado por la Sierra Madre Occidental, a una distancia de 52 km de la ciudad de Aguascalientes, capital del estado. Cuenta con una extensión territorial de 931.26 km²; y sus colindancias son: al norte con los municipios de San José de Gracia y el estado de Zacatecas, al sur con el Estado de Jalisco, al oriente con los municipio de Jesús María y al poniente con el estado de Zacatecas. Por su ubicación geográfica es que Calvillo goza de un clima semicálido, con una abundante y variada vegetación que va desde matorrales hasta encino, cedro y pino. Dentro de su fauna se encuentran diferente variedad de aves, jabalí, venado, lobos y pumas. Exelente para acampar, Hay varias actividades que se pueden practicar. Mi consejo es llevarse todo lo nesesario allá porque estar allá es desconectarse totalmente de todo. This place is one of those where time flies and when you have to return, you don't want to leave. Very beautiful. Excellent for camping, There are several activities that can be practiced.
