★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Comenzó a construirse en marzo de 1951 a iniciativa de la comunidad de Presa de los Serna y con ayuda del Gobierno del Estado de Aguascalientes, tiene una capacidad de 300,000 m3 y se ubica sobre el cause del arroyo de Nogales, se le conoce como Presa Nueva ya que anteriormente existió otra pequeña presa la cuál de reventó debido a una gran corriente de agua.
It began to be built in March 1951 at the initiative of the community of Presa de los Serna and with the help of the Government of the State of Aguascalientes, it has a capacity of 300,000 m3 and is located on the cause of the Nogales stream, it is known as New Dam since previously there was another small dam which burst due to a large stream of water.
