A	Alma Espinoza on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Después de desayunar en La Catrina, hicimos nuestra primer parada en la Presidencia Municipal de Tepatitlán de Morelos, un edificio en tono azul cielo muy imponente en su exterior se encontraba abierta y pudimos pasar a conocer y tomar fotografías. En el interior los muros están en tonalidades amarillas, una fuente al centro y dos murales más en las paredes de la entrada, al subir las escaleras nos encontramos con un gran mural impactante en los cuatro muros y el fondo del techo, el interior luce más pequeño que exteriormente. Ocupa el lugar de lo que fueron las antiguas Casas Consistoriales en tiempos del Virreinato, y a través de la Historia experimentaron diversas modificaciones (una de ellas en tiempos del Presidente Benito Juárez, quien concedió fondos producto de la desamortización de bienes de manos muertas). El aspecto de su fachada Poniente de elegante estilo neoclásico con algunos toques barrocos en sus tres niveles, viene de principios del Siglo XX, cuando el arquitecto y presidente municipal Francisco de Paula Palomar hizo el diseño e inició la construcción, que fue continuada por don Manuel Argáiz y el Lic. José Mendoza-López Schwertfeger en 1908. Las fachadas Sur y Oriente que complementan el aspecto regio y señorial del palacio, fueron edificadas por don José de Anda y los dos subsecuentes primeros ediles. En su interior hay un precioso ejemplar de la muralística mexicana titulado "Cinco Siglos de Historia" del Maestro Rubén García, y otro mural del Maestro J. Guadalupe Ríos Córdoba sobre la Independencia y la Revolución, inaugurado durante las fiestas del Centenario y Bicentenario. Da frente a la Plaza de Armas, y resalta colocado en el pináculo, por encima del Escudo Nacional del águila porfiriana, el símbolo masónico del gorro frigio. En muy poco tiempo la recorrimos para continuar nuestro recorrido, los invito a escribir su propia historia, hasta la próxima. Quiero destacar que mi apoyo en historia para complementar mis aportaciones son a través de redes oficiales del gobierno de Tepa. After having breakfast at La Catrina, we made our first stop at the Municipal Presidency of Tepatitlán de Morelos, a building in a very imposing sky blue tone on the outside was open and we were able to visit and take pictures. Inside the walls are in yellow tones, a fountain in the center and two more murals on the walls of the entrance, going up the stairs we find a large impressive mural on the four walls and the bottom of the ceiling, the interior looks more small than externally. It occupies the place of what were the old Town Hall in times of the Viceroyalty, and throughout history they underwent various modifications (one of them in the time of President Benito Juárez, who granted funds as a result of the confiscation of dead hands). The appearance of its Poniente facade of elegant neoclassical style with some baroque touches in its three levels, comes from the beginning of the 20th century, when the architect and municipal president Francisco de Paula Palomar made the design and began the construction, which was continued by Don Manuel Argáiz and Lic. José Mendoza-López Schwertfeger in 1908. The South and East facades that complement the regal and stately aspect of the palace, were built by Don José de Anda and the two subsequent first councilors. Inside there is a beautiful copy of the Mexican mural entitled "Five Centuries of History" by Maestro Rubén García, and another mural by Maestro J. Guadalupe Ríos Córdoba on Independence and the Revolution, inaugurated during the Centennial and Bicentennial festivities. It faces the Plaza de Armas, and stands out placed on the pinnacle, above the National Shield of the Porfirian eagle, the Masonic symbol of the Phrygian cap.
