★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Madai gave me an amazing pedicure. Left feeling relaxed and pampered. The highlight would definitely have to be the massage. 5 star. Thank you ladies. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfriendly staff, misquoted the prices, charged for manicure service not requested… I.e. wanted painted nails only and charged for full manicure. Product was sub par as well. Advise for those going: get written price before service… and get antibiotics afterwards

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had Andrea as my pedicurist. She was very polite and can speak English as well. She also translated for her coworker who was giving a pedicure to my friend. The massage was well balanced not too soft or hard. Paint job excellente. Much as gracias.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got a gel manicure here a week ago, and unfortunately the young woman who did my manicure was not properly trained - the ends of the nails weren't sealed and there were residues on the nails which meant that the gel job wasn't smooth. I noticed this after the manicure was finished so I showed the manager and asked her for a redo which o scheduled for the following week. I just came out of the redo with the same very young woman of only 18, so I made sure to remind the manager to seal the ends of the nails with th polish. Throughout, I had to frequently remind the technician of residues or issues on the nails so that the polish would be smooth. She didn't file my during the redo so I presumed she checked that there wete round. After the gel was finally done, I noticed that a couple of my nails were not rounded, they were uneven and borken and clearly needed to be filed beforehand. I alerted her and the manager, and the offered to file down the nail, but this would have broken the gel on the nail. I explained that the nails should have been checked and filed beforehand by the technician, and I was told that I should have checked my nails, and that "every country does things differently". This is incorrect. I have had very good manicures in Mexico before, and I should not have to know the steps of a manicure and check constantly - this is the job of the technician. This is very disappointing as this was a redo in what is marketed as un upscale salon with Europe prices. I should have been assigned a properly trained technician and, moreover, the young woman who worked on me needs proper professional training with regards to attention to detail. She did try, but she just doesn't have the patience or training needed for this line of work. I don't recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place that conducts bad business and will try to up charge you without you looking! If you read the other 1 star reviews, it appears that I’m not the only victim of this incident.
Asked for the price menu and the manager says that they don’t have a price list, since they went “digital” and it’s currently down. Did not make any sense. If it’s digital, it should be recorded somewhere on their computers. I suspect this is their way of being able to change the price on you or quote you higher prices based on how you look, which is shady practice.
Asked for the wifi password and the manager says that they had problems accessing it, yet when I asked one of the nail ladies they were able to give it to me with no problem.
Asked for how much the total would be for refill/shellac pedicure from my nail lady and then was up-charged at the end by the manager because she didn’t like the price she quoted and wanted to charge me more. I argued that she can’t do that since that was the quote originally provided to me by her staff. Kept going in circles and then started using the language barrier excuse, which isn’t the case since I wrote out the pesos amount on my calculator and she confirmed it.
Then stated that if I won’t pay the full amount then the nail lady will have to pay the excess herself. Unbelievable bad management! She finally agreed to charge the amount that was quoted only to swiped my card for the full amount. She thought I didn’t noticed but I did! That’s why I chose to pay with card to make sure that amount is disputed.
I’m sorry for the worker who had to go through this. It was out of her control for having a bad manager like this.
Also, they enforce a mask mandate despite not being required to. I have a feeling that it’s so they can find ways to charge you for a mask, which was what happened too!!
My family owns nail salons back at home and I’m disappointed by how customers are being taking advantaged here. My nail lady did a good job on my nails and toes but this whole situation left a bad taste in my mouth and not worth going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am always happy with the services from Pretty Nails. They are quick with replies which is very important to me as I am scheduling not only my own services but often services for my wedding clients - many of which are last (or close) minute. They are always kind and accommodating and you always know what to expect.
I recently had a client go in for a back waxing before his big day (his first time) and was already nervous as it was his first time- add to that a foreign country and your wedding day..... everyone was great and made him feel at ease and the service was incredibly done.
This is always my go to for great service- of which we had many! You can’t go wrong.
Don’t judge the chubby fingers and toes—— the nails look and even better.... FEEL GREAT!
