Pro Dive - 77600 San Miguel de Cozumel

Spent three days diving with them from the Westin. We drove down to Palancar Pier and got the boat from there (best to rent a car btw). Dive masters (Anna and Sergio) were awesome. Super safety conscious on both the dive aspects and also on COVID related measures. Very friendly as well. Would highly recommend.

Dives between March 3rd and 6th, Wife and I went on dives with Pro Dive while our 2 sons completed there Open Water certifications and then spent the last day diving with us. Very Professional and accommodated my request for a 100 CF tank and Nitrox. All training and diving was very professional and the dives were great. Thanks everybody for the great dives.

I booked a dive trip for myself and a snorkeling trip for my family. My dive was excellent and the reefs are spectacular, but Pro Dive is not a company I would recommend. My morning dive was one hour delayed waiting for boats to pick us up from our location at the Occidental resort in Cozumel. This did not bother me terribly. I understand that sometimes things happen. However, Pro Dive compensated for the lateness by limiting our bottom time, which did not seem fair to me. We as customers paid the price for their mistake. The snorkeling tour was cancelled due to bad weather, so Pro Dive rescheduled for a different day, which again is fine - stuff happens. Unfortunately we got sick so we tried to cancel. Pro Dive would not give any refund. This is the most mercenary company I have ever dealt with and I would recommend against using them. If you stay at Occidental, other companies will come pick you up at the pier. I loved the resort and intend on returning, but will definitely take my own advice and use a different company for diving/snorkelling.

Just returned from a week of diving with Pro Dive International in Cozumel. The staff was fantastic. Nate was our guide for 6 days of drift diving. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The reefs were beautiful., saw many fish, turtles, and rays. He made the trip very enjoyable. This was a great trip.

We had an excellent experience with pro dive cozumel! All of their instructors and dove masters are very knowledgeable and great yo work with! their discover scuba dive experience is great for beginners who want to try scuba diving for the first time before becoming certified. My husband is an experienced diver but i am not and this program allowed us to scuba dive together. I was very nervous at first and their instructors Jay and Leo were both very patient. I am 100% sold on the experience and will be certifying so we can do many more dives together!

Our dive guide Kuga was amazing! Most of the gear was decent quality with one major caveat. We had a depth gauge off by 20 ft. My partner told the guys in the gear shop but they forgot to fix if before reissuing it to him. Other than that, every experience with them was positive. If you have trouble communicating via email, just call the dive shop. Our emails with the dive shop were confusing, but once we were there in person communication was smooth. They had very safe guides and boat crew, and everyone was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. They were patient and calm when issues arose, and they were always very respectful of the wildlife. Boats can be a little cramped but they are high quality. Snacks and water are provided, and you are never rushed. Some notes though: 1. Tip guides, boat crew, and gear guys separately, don't throw all the tips in the box on the boat (my bad). 2. DO NOT COME TO COZUMEL UNLESS YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED DIVER. Seriously, I will reiterate that with the fragile corral and the current, this is not a great environment to first get your certification. You will likely hurt the wildlife and have less fun than if you get certified somewhere without drift diving. 3. They prove free nitrox and they verify the O2 conc.in front of you, unlike some other operators. 4. They are very punctual for pickups, and have a decent surface interval between dives while they drop off tanks to be refilled. We spent our first two days diving with another operator, and after working with prodive, we felt so fortunate that we switched.

Overall I had a great experience with this dive shop. They take safety seriously, are flexible with bookings, have great dive guides and staff, and are overall fun to dive with.

Outstanding team, from quick email responses to clear pricing that doesn't change depending on who you ask, and dive instructors who genuinely seem to care about everyone's knowledge being enhanced on each dive. We've had a beautiful experience so far and look forward to the remaining dives in our trip
