Não mergulhei, mas vi muitas pessoas indo fazer o passeio. Cuidado dos profissionais me pareceu muito bom.
I didn't dive, but I saw a lot of people going for the tour. Professional care seemed very good to me.

Fantastic operation. Dive masters and all staff particularly Julia, Stefany and Lila were so kind and accommodating.

Friendly and international staff who are all truly dive enthusiasts. They’ll care for your safety and protection of the reef. Reliable operation with daily morning & afternoon dives and occasionally night dives. Convenient dive shop at Occidental’s (and Allegro’s) premises where you can leave your gear. Boats can sometimes be a bit crowded with two fully booked groups of divers squeezed in.

I did my refresher and 3 days diving with Pro Dive at the Occidental. Pro: - The refresher course was super nice. After 3 years not diving due to Corona, it was definitely needed. It was detailed and Patricia did a great job making the three of us in this course feel comfortable and well-prepared for our dives. - The dive sites were beautiful and the dives themselves were well-organized. - I loved diving with Victoria. She is calm and super friendly. Could be improved: - I would wish for a bit more taking care of safety before the dives. I did not see the instructors aksing for buddy checks. Since I was diving by myself and had the guide as my buddy, I always asked other people to do the check with me. - Sometimes I felt the guides could have organized the groups a bit better during the dives (i.e. remind buddies to stay close to each other). A lot of inexperienced holiday divers were clearly not that great divers, not so much in control with all the current and seemed a bit all over the place. This could potentially be a bit dangerous. I did my other dives elsewhere since I wanted to feel 100% comfortable during some of my dives. It is a big company that does many groups each day. That's why I only did 3 days diving with Pro Dive. Pro Dive is ok if you are somewhat experienced with your own buddy. I can't comment on the certification courses, but if they are as nice as the refresher course, then I can recommend. So overall, it was ok.

(Laurie's husband Chris writes) I inquired with several dive companies in Cozumel about the possibility of starting my PADI Divemaster training in the USA and getting a referral to complete it while in Cozumel. Pro Dive International was the first to respond and worked with me to come up with an individualized training plan and ensure I had all the required documentation arranged. My training plan was intense (by design) and I was impressed by the professionalism and safety consciousness of the PDI personnel. Leo, the Course Director and quality assurance officer, came over from PDI in Playa del Carmen to personally instruct me. I successfully completed my training with time to spare before returning home. During my training I was able to experience a wide range of clients and assisted with various courses they took. I think everyone was happy with Pro Dive International...I have dived with them before and will do so again!

I just spent a week in Cozumel at the Occidental Resort (see other review), and while there I dove for 6 straight days with Pro Dive. This was my second diving trip to Cozumel and first with Pro Dive. I particularly loved the friendliness of the staff and easy whiteboard detailing who I was diving with, which boat, and which divemaster. There are yellow bins that you can borrow to stow BCD/Fins/etc. when not diving, and a rack for your wetsuit. Each day these are pulled into a secured building and each morning they are pulled back out. Otherwise no lockers. Small issues. 1) The day I signed up to dive I was told that Nitrox would be an extra $15/tank. Mid week several people were commenting about how they liked the free nitrox. Last day of the dive and I was put on Nitrox 31 without cost or asking. As a nitrox certified Advanced Open Water Diver, it would have been nice to have had nitrox the entire trip, and it felt a bit shady that I was asked to pay and others were not. 2) Morning and afternoon dives are two dives/per boat trip. But the boats only go out with one tank, then return to dock and exchange tanks. This limited their range significantly. More than half my dives were in either Cedral Wall or Cedral Pass. Overall my experience with Pro Dive was just ok. Next time I'm in Cozumel I'd probably look to another dive center.
