★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Long pier in Progreso. Every one is friendly and helpful here. No problems with anyone here. I felt safe and secure at all times. Beautiful blue water. Lots of shops, tours, and things to look at in the terminal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn't actually get off the ship I had spa day but my friend did the port looked beautiful and she had a wonderful time just down in the port shopping she got a lot of great pictures said the people were very friendly she enjoyed herself

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Progresso had a small cruise ship terminal with some duty free jewelry and liquor asking with plenty of souvenir shops. What I like was the fact that the vendors weren't aggressive with the cruisers which can be super annoying. The terminal was well kept with clean restrooms. Really no complaints.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Less scenic than other Carnival terminals, however it smells much less of sewage. Unless you take an expedition bus to the Mayan ruins, there is little to do other than grab a few mementos from the shops on the pier.
