★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very popular and crowded. Tourist goods are better than average, also more expensive. Vendor stalls go most of the way around the marina. You're flanked by them on one side and countless restaurants, farmacias, convenience stores, and shopping on the other. Our favorites were the food stalls. Environment is one giant tourist bubble in case you're allergic. Have your taxi or Uber drop you off at the Marina Vallarta lighthouse in case a landmark is needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So much fun! The market spans the length of the marina, and there is a large contingent of food and dessert vendors around the middle section. Lots of music and fun Mexican gifts, much more artsy than the typical stores in the area. Honestly, a better outdoor market than you’ll find in many American cities - it felt more like a festival.
