★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Cruz has a fish market where you can choose your fish and ask any restaurant to cook a pescado Zarandeado for you, actually local people says La Cruz is the best place to eat this Nayarit's traditional plate. La Cruz has a little public plaza few blocks North of the fish Market, where you can see wild iguanas everywhere, literally everywhere, and you can enjoy the sight eating or drinking a Corona outside of the restaurants that are in front of the plaza, I recommend "Iguana' s garden"

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely public park. Has well kept benches and huge shade trees! It's great when there are small community events there or just for a nice stroll on the weekends. My only complaint is that it can be hard to find parking nearby

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attended the Festival of Fish and Sea and had a great time. Nice work to get so many young people involved with conservation and public awareness. Music was so good! And the street food was delicious!!
