★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice but very small airport. The check in and security check is much faster than in Mexico City. When you arrive at the airport you’re almost at the gate. The only negative thing is that there could be more connections.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We flew from here to Monterrey rather than go from Mexico City and it was a very pleasant convenient experience. What I couldn't understand was the only information in the departure lounge related to arrivals, at no time was there a display of departure flights. As it happened my flight was delayed by 1 hour and the only way I knew is because I googled flight departures from the airport. All the people in the departure lounge are surely interested in departure info not arrival info a bizarre experience but for this I would have rated higher.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a quaint little airport. Most of the staff speak both Spanish and English (in case your Spanish is rusty ?). There's a nice little cafe after security. One warning: Don't be fooled by online quotes for the car rentals!!! They are far more expensive than advertised on Priceline and Booking.com! Also, depending on your exchange rate needs, there is only one spot to exchange currency. Because there's no competition, there's no room for negotiation.
