Good place to go to visit, they have some very good ruins of what was the Old Town of Guasave. There are several things to see.

Restos de lo que fue el cimiento del mundo misional jesuita en el noroeste de México. Los jesuitas a finales del siglo XVI crearon todo aquel gran mundo misional. Y justamente esas regiones del bajo río Sinaloa, donde se ubican Guasave y El Nío, fueron su cuna. La primera misión fundada en 1595, se ubicó en Pueblo viejo. Hace un poco más de 400 años introdujeron el garbanzo, el trigo y las dulces frutas de Castilla, también el limón ácido, la jugosa naranja y el dátil. Las misiones, además de difusoras de la fe católica cumplían funciones educativas y económicas.
