We had a fantastic week staying at Puerta aLa Playa. The hosts, Eddie and Melany have created an lovely environment that supports total relaxation and is imbued with the flavors of the area. Beautifully designed home on the beach with a salt water pool and many outdoor spaces to enjoy the quietude. We enjoyed being close enough to town that we could walk to lunch and dinner or stay in and enjoy the full kitchen and dining area for cooking our own meals. It’s also far enough away from town that it’s very quiet. We always walked along the beach to get to town and the local small restaurants. They also have a golf cart that you rent daily or weekly if walking is a challenge. They have a communal refrigerator full of bottle water and a large 5 gallon bottle for your use in the kitchen. The sunset views were stunningly beautiful and we got lucky seeing whales frolic in the bay. Kayaks and paddle boards are available to play in the bay. Great swimming in the bay as well as an endless beach for walking. The King beds were comfortable and the shower/ bathrooms were well equipped with great water pressure. Lots of unique and beautiful sitting areas to read a good book and enjoy the views. Don’t hesitate to book a week and enjoy La Manzanillo!!
