Lured in by the promise of wifi & a pool (as boasted on the sign outside), as well as the well positioned balconies visible from the street, I checked in, only to be put in a basement room with no windows,or WiFi signal. Upon realising I was the only person staying in the building, I asked to move to a room with a balcony & was moved one door down. I got my balcony(& wifi) but it was so close to street level that the balcony door (which had no lock) had a crude wooden wedge in it to stop anyone climbing up & into my room. The stomping from the office & then restaurant directly above, & un-oiled garage door beneath made morning lie-ins impossible. Talking to the barman in the admittedly lovely roof bar (not open during the day or Mondays) I learned the elusive swimming pool had actually flooded years ago & had been replaced with a dance floor. Had I been put in one of the three dozen unoccupied rooms above street level (ie the ones with a view), this would be a 4 star review, but the perplexing choices of the staff & disturbing noises that carried from the lobby spoiled my mornings. You might have better luck than I, but the promise then absence of a pool is a guaranteed disappointment, especially in a town as hot & sunny as this.

I would not return. I stayed here for one night, and I was unimpressed. The bathroom smelled of mold, the air conditioning didn't work. The elevator didn't have an up or down button on the third floor. On the plus side, it was generally clean (aside from mold), and the shower was big.
