Great little restaurant, good food, good music...it's a casual spot but with a 'premium' menu and service.
Ceasar salad was prepared table side. It was incredible.

Had shrimp alfredo with home made pasta. Very good.
Have a flashlight to walk back into town very uneven sidewalks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolutely delightful meal from start to finish! Jorge was welcoming, attentive and friendly-it felt like we had known him our whole lives. While the food is indeed “slow food” it is well worth the wait and made to order. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody in search of delicious and authentic Mexican cuisine!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food here is excellent. The staff are very freindly. The chefs and waiter spoke English very well. The chef is very accommodating to plant based eaters. They made my wife and friend a special meal just for them. The caesar salad is made from scratch right at your table and is very delicious. I had the stroganoff which is made right at your table as well. I highly recommend trying this dish as it's very tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walking on Escénica La Ropa, we discovered a little gem, Puerta Del Sol restaurant. We were welcomed by the owner himself, Jorge. The decor was inviting with Mexican music playing in the background. The food was tasty, the service was impeccable and the price reasonable. Not being familiar with Mexican wine, Jorge introduced us to a Baja California wine, Marques Del Valle, which was very good. For our party of six, the dinner was a delightful experience being one of our highlights in Zihuatanejo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a nice restaurant with good service but the food quality is really suffering and prices are too high given the ambiance and lack of novelty. 110 pesos for a tiny watered down margarita is not in line with other 3 star restaurants in the area I know it is hard times here and I am more than willing to support the local community. This has become a one time restaurant for those staying in the big condos nearby. Not a restaurant for those of us who are loyal to good food and value.
