A certain seafood place is very slow. But the port is very well cared for, the water is clean and the sunset is magnificent. It depends on the area, but fishermen tend to get drunk and wander around the area, look for the most central to avoid this.

It is a very quiet place, it looks a little desolate, we took photos of the letters of the villa, we were in the port, we met around the place and there is nothing else to just rest. Mainly we went for the boat ride but they only make tours from 6 people they charge $ 200 pesos or in their case $ 1,200 if it is not full. We wanted to stay in some cabins near the beach in the same way it is from 6 people so we decided to continue our trip hoping to be lucky next time since with the people we dealt with we did not have a good deal ... it is necessary to do a couple package since from what I saw they handle everything for a group. :( :(

It is a beautiful place. Although, I went in the time of COVID-19 (the State of Campeche has a green traffic light for a few months), and they tell me that it has been a short time since the port and its activities have reopened, the place could be one with a greater influx of people due to its great beauty. The boardwalk is very picturesque and it truly feels very peaceful. I know Chapala in Jalisco, and I think Isla Aguada surpasses it despite its simplicity. In addition, one can see a huge diversity of birds (frigates, seagulls, pelicans, diving ducks, to name a few) and dolphins are also seen on the tours. The latter were very sporadic in their appearances but it is thought that it is probable that the young dolphins and their calves are not used to being close to people and boats, like their predecessors; This is because this activity was stopped for many months, due to the health emergency due to the coronavirus. It is a must-see when visiting Campeche. It is 40-45 minutes from Ciudad del Carmen.

Fun place and worth the cost of the tour in the launch. We went in an off season and it was 500 pesos ($35 USD) for a two hour ride with just my wife and I. We saw lots of dolphins, went by a bird island with many of locate birds and stopped on an island where we could swim for a bit. There was a group of several guys outside this main entrance, they are the tour guides. We went here because several different people recommend this location as more affordable than other spots on the beach where they offer tours. The guides are okay with bringing food and drinks on the boat and there are several places across the street to load up if you need to.
