The property we (5 people) rented in August had apparently been foreclosed on in Oct. but PV Rentals did not have anything in place to discover that. The property that apparently is in foreclosure is Casa de Laguna on Calle del Almendro #5, Condo #703. Consequently, in January (peak season) Ernesto Flores of PV Rentals contacted me the day before we were to arrive to tell me this. He found an alternative house but wanted to charge us more because he had sent the rental fee to the owners who refused to return it to him. While I appreciate the difficulty of finding another place in Jan., there would have been no need had Mr. Flores kept track of the properties he rents. In a resort area with a shaky economy that seems like a critical part of doing business. The villa he found for us was in upper Conchas Chinas requiring constant taxis into town. I did not pay the additional rental fee. While I really do appreciate that an alternative was found, I would never use this company again since they have no processes in place to ensure the properties they rent are actually available.

I called Ernesto regarding a property that he still has featured on his FB page, and he was selling. I offered a full price deal, and he said the 'moon was not aligned". After more time went by, he said the owners were contemplating the deal. I called an attorney and had her check on the property and title was not clear. I would not touch his business with a ten foot pole.

Another Perfect PV Vacation Thanks to Ernesto! We have occasionally used other sites to book our vacations, but when we come to Puerto Vallarta we only book with Ernesto at PV Property Rentals. We contacted Ernesto before we left Canada to see properties for rent in PV for next season. Ernesto contacted us and said he would be happy to help us and to contact him when we were down there. We did, no response, after several tries, he responded and said he would send over some listing by Monday, nothing. Contacted him again on Thursday and he said he would send some places over. Again nothing. We wasted so much time when we could of used another agency to help us. Now we are back in Canada with nothing secured.
