★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El recreo es una pulquería con 60 años de existencia, ahora es atendida por Poncho, un señor muy amable con amplia experiencia en los curados.
Todos días de 12-20hrs puedes encontrar sabores como mango, avena, vampiro, apio o frutas. La cubeta de curados está en $100 y trae como 7lt, jarra en $50 con 2lt, además te ofrecen sopa de pollo con tortillas y salsita.
En el interior hay sanitario, tienes que llevar tu papel.
Tiene una rocola para que pongas tu música favorita.
Muchas felicidades a Poncho y su pulqueria el recreo que siga con más éxito.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se ha mantenido durante el tiempo esta deliciosa pulqueria, aunque ya no se ven los peluches y juguetes que estaban en los aparadores y repisas. Ha decaído un poco ya que el querido poncho está solo y le es difícil atender todo el solo. Aún así su esfuerzo se nota con las deliciosas botanas que prepara para que no mueras de hambre. Extrañamos el de cacahuate.

It has slowed down a bit since the dear poncho is alone and it is difficult for him to take care of everything by himself. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El lugar: pequeño local sobre la calle de Manzanares, una pulquería tradicional hecha y derecha! Si bien el espacio es muy reducido, encontraron forma de meter su sinfonola, su tele, seis mesas, unas bancas y unas sillas.
El servicio: atención excelente por parte de Poncho, el maestro pulquero, y de su chalán. Curados del día, guisadito y botana para todos.
El pulque: no es el mejor que he probado, pero por los $25 que cuesta el litro (parejo, no importa si es blanco o curado), es un regalo. Diario hay mínimo tres sabores, además del de ajo.
Lo bueno: el ambiente es de época, remonta a un tiempo que ya no existe, ahí el reloj corre más lento y las preocupaciones parecen lejanas; la botanita gratis (un caldazo de pollo con verduras que no tiene igual, o unos taquitos de charales) y el pulque baratito y fresco son un detallazo del lugar.
Lo malo: el lugar está descuidado, hay moscas y mosquitos en cantidad y huele un poco mal.
En conclusión: una joya del Centro Histórico, imperdible si andas por la Merced. Si no te fijas mucho en un par de cositas del ambiente, está de 10.

The bad: the place is run down, there are many flies and mosquitoes and it smells a bit bad.
In conclusion: a jewel of the Historic Center, not to be missed if you are in La Merced. If you do not pay much attention to a couple of things in the environment, it is 10.
