The place: it may not seem like a compliment (it is), but the place looks like a little restaurant rather than a pulcata. Everything is very clean and tidy, the tables have tablecloths and the bathrooms, although they do not have doors, are super clean. Although the interior is smoked a little by the gorditas comal that is inside, the truth is that the fans throw the stoppage with the heat. The service: friendly, effective and fast. Both the gentlemen and the guy who attends very attentive at all times. There is a jukebox, although this sounds a bit strong and sometimes complicates talking. There is no snack as such, but they sell some very tasty gorditas de chicharrón ($ 16), which they take to the table with their lemon and their servilletitas, fresh from the butter. They also sell beer. Pulque: the cost of a liter of 'frutal' cured is $ 35 pesos, and that of white pulque is $ 20. The cured ones taste like natural fruit and although a little sweet they are rich, light and served cold in their clay jars; the white pulque is also light and easy to drink, and is rather sweet, herbal and a little mineral. The good: the combination of good pulque with the delicious gorditas, added to the affordable prices, make this place a most interesting and convenient option. The bad: I couldn't be sure, but it gives me the feeling that pulque brings 'piquete', because it does add up a little more than other pulques I've tried, but not as much as pulque from the town. Assuming it brought added alcohol, the truth does not bother me much, but I think they should comment on it.
