Punta Mercedes cocina a la leña - 63734 Punta de Mita

One of the best place in punta mita. The service is great and kind. The food is amazing and the potatoes are very tasty. All that we eat was delicious. I recommend it.

We ordered takeout from here tonight. The 2 salads we ordered were a joke. See the pictures below. At $160 each, I expected them to be much more substantial. Also got the empanadas. Very little filling and the beef was full of grizzle. One of the more disappointing meals I’ve had in Punta Mita.

I enjoyed a solo meal on the beach here on a Tuesday night, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The waiters were extra clean and masked, and provided superb service. I had the rib-eye, perfectly rare... Crispy outside and perfectly rare inside. The garlic truffle mashed potatoes are to die for! Served with grilled fresh asparagus and fresh, warm house roll. They also provided a beautiful selection of gourmet salts. I paired my meal with a suggested Mexican red which complimented perfectly. But the best part was that they allowed me to smoke herb at my table. Now, there weren't a lot of patrons, and they do generally allow smoking at the beach tables... But I asked and they approved my request. Their simple act of kindness meant the world to me. It doesn't seem like a big thing, but for some of us it is essential. It capped a wonderful evening that'll be a treasured birthday memory for the rest of my life. Peace, Love, Blessed Be! ~THC

This was probably my favorite spot that we ate at in town. Great service. Beautiful view of the water, and food was outstanding

We stopped by unexpectedly for a drink but ordered food too. The pizza was one of the best I’ve had in Mexico. And the drinks were superb... Thank you, one or both of us will be back...

Service was fantastic, food was delicious, drinks were fresh, views were great! The only negative is the beach vendors selling to restaurant guests but that was easily overlooked by how good everything was. Definitely recommend!

The view was by far the best part of this restaurant. Food was above average but for what we learned about cuisine in Punta Mita this was the creme de la creme! 3 stars in these parts is saying something. We were a bit disappointed with the wine list, but overall the food and selections were good. I would suggest to escape the terrible resort food and take the short drive to town. You wont be disappointed.

Excellent guacamole and pork belly and the steak and sea bass was perfect! If I didn’t live 2000 miles away I would be here every night for dinner. If you are in the area, have dinner at Punta Mercedes, you won’t be disappointed! Staff were on point and took care of everything. BTW, have a margarita too!
