Great Great place to visit! The guides, when you arrive, are so nice and helpful. The lighthouse has 133 steps to the top but it is worth it. Then when you get out take a picture with the parks mascot. A beautiful 6 year old Macaw. Then you will need a drink, after the hike to the top of the lighthouse, so stop at the little bar and have a cold coconut drink or fresh lemonade. Once you are done touring this area head to the beach and enjoy some drinks, food and the beach itself. The water is beautiful and the drinks and food are reasonable prices. Definite recommendation.

Punta Sur is a beautiful ecopark on Cozumel that offers a lagoon (with crocs!), a lighthouse, museum, and a nice beach to relax on. In terms of prices there's an entrance fee that's there to continue the conservation of the park. If you're planning on staying for lunch, expect to pay higher prices (ex: one small corona cost 90 pesos). I'd recommend stopping at the Rasta Bar just outside the park after visiting the highlights.

Amazing park! The snorkeling at the last beach is free if you have your own equipment. Just give your ID in exchange of a life jacket and go towards the reef (far but not THAT far). I think people who critized this place didn’t have their eyes open? I swam with multiple green turtles, spotted eagle rays, stingrays, barracudas, so many colorful fish. You can see a lot of shellfish and starfish as well in the sandy areas. The staff is super nice and the music not too loud. I felt safe leaving my belongings while gone for an hour or two at a time. I will keep coming back to this little paradise.

WARNING: do not snorkel here!!! We rented life vests and snorkeling equipment and we snorkeled out to the supposed “Coral Reef” and there was no reef whatsoever! On top of that I think it is very dangerous to try and go out to the “Reef” as I swam out to where the staff told me to go. It is very very far, and on the way back I started suffering from exhaustion & dehydration!!! If you do snorkel out make sure you drink a lot of water beforehand. When I came back to shore I could barely think or speak, because of the dehydration. I honestly think it should be illegal for the staff here to try and tell you to snorkel out to the reef. It’s about a 40min swim out to where staff told me to go, and 40min back. On top of that there was nothing there except sand and fish, NO REEF!!!!!! I am very disappointed and I think you should be very careful if you try and snorkel here. Definitely not worth the 20$ USD per person snorkel equipment they gave me. On top of that they gave us both life jackets that we had to inflate ourselves, and throughout the swim both of them leaked!!!! We had to stop swimming all the time and inflate them by breathing into a tube, all while we were 500 feet off the shore. Just an awful experience overall :( Only saw a few fish, maybe 15 max during my 2 hour swim See my attached photos of what these people are trying to call a “Coral Reef”

Punta Sur is our personal highlight of Cozumel. The beach is very clean and not crowded. The water is very clean and clear. It has all the beautiful colors you are looking for to some nice fotos. There are severel "beach clubs" open by 2022 and you get tge comfort of showers and toilets even this far out, right at the beach. We stayed at Playa del Cielo. Beach loungers are new and cozy with big umbrellas. The service is very good and the food is fantastic! We had coconut shrimps, fries and squid rings. Everything was vrry tasty!

We did a shore excursion through Virgin Voyages for Punta Sur Eco Park in Cozumel. We have been to Cozumel in the past, but never here. It was an open air bus, so you felt the bumps and you get wacked by tree limbs due to the height (see the picture of the bus). What we enjoyed was the variety of things to see and do. It hits many travel points as you can see wildlife on land and in the sea (if you go snorkeling especially). Archeological site and a lighthouse to climb. I didn't climb it as others were ahead of our group and it was a narrow climb. This is the only part I regret missing as the view is stupendous from what I heard. We hit the beach at the end where they have a beachside food stall. Food is awesome for being so far away from the city. All the photos were taken by me during our visit with my phone. As you can see, it is an oasis for the mind and body. Word of warning, watch out for the raccoons and black birds. They are out to steal your food at every turn :^)

Definitely worth the admission price, I got my ticket online for only 18 usd. Boardwalk where I saw a crocodile, walked the lighthouse 133 steps, walked the trail saw vultures and iguanas, lagoon boat tour saw another crocodile and turtle, snorkelling and great service at the restaurant. Definitely spend the full day here. Highly recommended
