Pura Vida is that place to go to when you are sick of asking each other "I don't know, what do you want to eat?" It has become a normal part of our week, as we usually eat here 2-3x's. The food is GREAT, affordable, and it's the best place to sneak a ton of veggies into your diet. Smoothies- This is THE PLACE in town for fresh juices and smoothies. We keep trying others and then just come back here, as they really are the best! The smoothie and juice menu is HUGE... literally a hundred options. They keep all the fruits and veggies in baskets in the restaurant, almost like the produce section of a grocery store, and grab what ingredients they need as orders are placed. Smoothies, juices and healthy shots range from 42 pesos to 68 pesos. Healthy Food- They have everything from salads packed with veggies, lentil soup, or grilled Portobello mushroom skewers. Mostly everything on their menu can be altered or customized to fit gluten-free, vegetarian or even vegan diets. My absolute go-to is their ‘Pura Vida Salad’. I can’t even COUNT the number of different veggies, seeds and nuts there are on this salad, but I’ll give it a shot: Mixed lettuce, jicama, tomato, celery, cucumber, bell peppers, carrot, hearts of palm, corn, mushrooms, cabbage, sprouts, avocado, pumpkin seeds, chickpeas, almonds, sunflower seeds, etc. It’s massive and for 103 pesos, is cheaper than I could buy each ingredient to make my own salad at home. The Indulgent Side of the Menu- Right on their menu, they have a quote saying “At Pura Vida you can eat as healthy as you want it to be”, which is absolutely true. If you don’t feel like a green juice and a salad, there are still lots of more indulgent options on the menu. You can get mini pizzas, quesadillas, sandwiches dripping with melted cheese, whatever! Mexican Food- They have a small Mexican section of the menu that is REALLY cheap, and really good Tostadas and Quesadillas for around 46 pesos! The Bakery- Every day they sell loaves of their bread, which is amazing. I usually bring one home for the week. They also sell mini sweetbreads, granola, and fruit tarts. To Go- You can order food to go at the store, or you can use the local 'Al Dente' food delivery app to get it at home. Wifi- Yes, they have wifi and the speed is fast!

Stopped here almost every day of our one week trip to hydrate with the most fresh juices! Caught both lunch and breakfast and it was amazing. They’ve got all your breakfast favorites. Service was great! Amazing atmosphere. Clean bathrooms! So affordable compared to the states!

I came to Puravida years ago and had a great experience with the fruit salads and smoothies. My most recent visit with the Eggs Benedict was not very enjoyable and left me with a feeling of nausea. I would not recommend this particular plate and the price wasn't great either. I think the menu has to many items and that the menu needs LESS options. Quality over quantity. I liked the eco friendly straws for my drink. Service by Katya was nice.

Tried the green smoothies there, not sure all the ingredients announced are in significant quantity in it, like chlorophyll, spinach and so on.. quiet sugary as well. Health seems more used as marketing than real intention.

Great food. Fair prices. Good service. One of the few places in Mazatlan to get a healthy salad, and it won't cost a fortune.

Super delicious juice. Tried to eat vegan here, they added cheese to everything. Even after sending back and telling a second time no dairy/ cheese/ eggs. Still received our meals with dairy, and mayo, ended up just scrapping it off and counted this place as a loss.. juice was Good

Went here after dining in many places around Mazatlan. It is one of few places that actually have good service. The young man who served us was friendly, asked us where we were from and was generally very nice and chatty. We felt very welcome. I found some weird pieces of plastic in my drink but when I told the employees about it they dealt with it straight away without hesitation. Unlike, other restaurants that I have visited here, you feel cared for and valued as a customer! Juice options are varied and great!! Wrap was tasty! Price reasonable! And service good! Thank you for this experience after many terrible restaurant experiences in this region ?
