Five stars all the way around! Villa Sorpresa is an amazing oasis in the heart of Old Town Puerto Vallarta. Surrounded by large natural greenery, the waterfall pool is heated to just the right temperature, it was even perfect to swim in the evenings. Very close to restaurants and shops. Fifteen minute walk or less from the beaches, if you focus on the walking and not the beautiful sights, sounds, and yummy smells of the street food carts. You could stay at the Villa Sorpresa for months and not have to leave. The on-site concierge was so welcoming and knowledgeable of local life. As a single lady, I felt so safe in the elegant gated Villa. I felt like I was a long-time returning guest, even though it was my first visit. I started planning to go again the day I arrived back home!
