Went on the 2nd day of their reopening a couple of weeks ago. While they don’t allow anyone to climb during the pandemic, it was still incredible to be able to see the ruins. Hire a guide to see Teotihuacán! It’s so worth it!! Tip: wear a hat and sunscreen. I ignored my guide thinking I would be ok on a mild, cloudy day with just sunscreen on my face. Wrong. I came back burned on my nose, back and head. Tip: bring lots of snacks and water if you don’t want junk food snacks they sell there. Even though we couldn’t climb any ruins, we still took 4.5 hours to walk and enjoy the entire grounds.

This place is amazing, very unique place in the world. You can feel it as soon as you get there. I didn't hire a guide, I went there by myself and I had a great day just walking, you can see the city from the pyramid of moon and if you try hard you can imagine being there thousands of year ago and feel the amazing energy that this place has. There wasn't ropes when I went there, I read that now they have ropes to make the climb easier. If you are in Mexico city this place is a must to go.

My primary reason to visit the site was to see the Pyramid of the Sun, but certainly don’t sleep on the Pyramid of the Moon! You can’t currently climb the pyramids because of the pandemic, but you can still get a great idea of their scale (along with some great pictures). I only took off my mask for pictures, but there weren’t too many police around enforcing the rules.

Covid is fake, how ridiculous why not go to upstairs, it does not make sense, but the price was not bad. There are many sellers on the street like the homeless, it was harsh for me, they asked travelers to buy their own items, even if do not need. Por favor, improve

Just visited today very hot take umbrella. You can bring lunch and water to stay hydrated. Tickets were about $80 MXN PESOS. EXTREMELY interesting place. Nobody knows truly which civilization built this citadel. Some old lady that works here told me cool story that she witnessed UFO above join pyramid.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at the pyramid of the Moon. Go early and have the whole place to yourself. After spending time there head on over to the pyramid of the Sun. It's a casual :07 minute walk.

Sadly you cannot climb the pyramid any more. But it is still a very impressive structure facing a very long street, so the views are great.
