★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a very interesting site, but due to COVID, the schedules have changed and they're closing at 15:00 (3:00pm) without having it published anywhere which gave us about an hour to explore the place.
Also, the access to the top of the pyramids is closed.
Something to add: we figured out that many of the constructions were rebuilt and/reconstructed. Personally I had preferred if they'd left the ruins as they were and had built a replica somewhere to visit.
I also believe that there could be a little bit more interactive information about the way people used to live and what kind of rituals used to take place there. This could be achieved either with some sort of manikins, screens or reenactment...
Go to a museum instead? Well... that I can do in the City, no need to travel to an archeological site.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The site was amazing. Totally worth the 40min drive from Mexico City center. The guide we used was terrible. Her name was Liz Beth. If you prebook with a travel company, do yourself a favor and demand a college educated historian, anthropologist or archaeologist who is specifically familiar with your site(s). Do NOT just settle for a “licensed” guide. Many “licensed” guides may not know much about your actual site history. They are not licensed for a particular site. They are licensed as guides generally. Ours was quick to point out that she had a high school education and had also taken some technical classes to pass her Guide test. She was uninterested, il-informed and more frustrating than helpful… BUT Teotihuacán should not be missed!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolute highlight one should not miss. The flying traders are anoying, I think I said "no gracias" 500 times today! There are also Quad-tours offered. They are very expensive and bring you from one tourist trap to the next. The people are very friendly and helpful over all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best, if not the best, experiences I’ve ever had. The pyramids are beautiful pieces of art that you can admire from up close or even far away. No matter what you do, you will enjoy it. Lots of historical and pre-historical sites located within. a lot of vendors with locally-made souvenirs. Highly recommend bringing enough water, sunscreen, snacks, hats and comfortable shoes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely a must visit when you’re visiting Mexico City. Make sure that you try the hot air balloon ride over the pyramids before you go walk the site. They don’t let anyone climb the pyramids at this point of time due to the pandemic

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went with a tour group that arrived early in the morning and I was glad I did. We were the first group there and had the entire place to ourselves. Lots to see and lots of history here. The pyramid of the Moon and the pyramid of the Sun are amazing. Very interesting how this entire complex is laid out and designed. I recommend a tour group with a knowledgeable guide. There is allot of history here that you are going to want to know. I recommend wearing a hat. A big sombrero would work best the sun is very intense here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big. Me feel small.
Don’t do a tour group, just go to the anthropology museum the day before so you can learn yourself. Take an Uber there and back.
MUST SEE if you make the trip to Mexico City.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great lil shops just to get small gifts or the hat you forgot. They won't let you walk up they still worth seeing. Try to avoid direct sun between 12 and 1. Go early and enjoy the balloons or get in a ride early morning.
