Quality Inn Monterrey La Fe - 67110 Guadalupe

All the bed sheets were clean, and all the bathroom fixtures and appliances were functional. The breakfast was good and included eggs made to order. Had good Wi-Fi reception in my room. Also note that on a GPS Device this hotel might come up as a Holiday Inn or a Fiesta Inn if you GPS maps are old. The only issues were that: 1: They don't accept Discover card even though the Choice Hotels Reservations systems allows you to use it, they will ask you for a Visa or Master card once you get there, so be aware of this. 2: Only a minor issue; there were only two towels provided when we got there, most hotels usually have more.

They had a promo where kids stayed free and the price wasn’t too bad considering the amenities- indoor heated pool, free breakfast, spacious rooms etc. HOWEVER, be aware there’s no smoking allowed anywhere inside the hotel- you sign a form agreeing to this policy and if you don’t comply you’ll be fined $3000 pesos. Also another policy is no outside foods or drinks are allowed to be consumed in the patio or pool area, you can only consume what they sell from bar and restaurant from hotel. Which wouldn’t be an issue if the food was good, the drinks had more variety, and the service from restaurant staff was good as well. On our stay the kids wanted to use the pool, and it was great but then we got hungry so asked if we could order some pizzas from the area- that’s when they told us it’s not allowed and we would have to eat it pin our rooms. From there we decided to just have our meals there from their place, well the restaurant staff didn’t quite agree to service after being in a the pool we were sitting in the patio wanting to order and they weren’t quite as friendly to walking outside to bring our meals. The one waitress who stood out w her rudeness is Isabel Ibarra, whatever it is we would ask her replies were always ok with a stern face - one of the things we asked was the tortillas they had brought weren’t heated and asked for reheating so she just grabs them and walks away while I was still speaking. Every time I made the attempt to thank her she would ignore me. The only good experience we had (2 families staying here) was the front desk and the lady in charge of room service, Lizeth (I believe) was excellent getting us accommodating rooms even w a small extra bed she really offered great attention and the lady from rooom service was setting the extra bed and made us feel welcomed. If you don’t plan on using the pool and or the restaurant your stay shall be great.

Hotel was dark, it is acceptable besides that, room was dark.. T.V was broken all furniture

Traveling on business on my first ever trip to Monterrey and was very pleased. This is the best Quality Inn branded property I have ever stayed in - and I stay in a LOT of Choice Hotels. In the U.S. this hotel would be branded a Comfort Inn or better. The rooms were good and the staff was extremely helpful. Their English is much better than my Spanish! I was even able to get a burger in the on-site restaurant so that I didn't have to try to find my way around town. The hotel drivers and extended checkout helped with the logistics of my trip as well. I really appreciated their willingness to make things work for me. The only thing to work on is that key card reader in the elevators. Sometimes you had to fight it. I will definitely stay here again if I make another trip to Monterrey.

7 out of 10 everything was nice the food from the hotel is really good, I bit pricy for the size it good, the internet need to be updated and signal for WiFi has to be boosted other than that all else was really good room was clean and bed was very clean as well. I will definitely keep being a customer

The hotel is definitely secure. Every adult needs to provide a form of ID to check in. The elevator requires a room key card, and the room requires the key card in order to get power working. The breakfast is very good, and there's a nice outdoor area. The rooms are nicely decorated and have fantastic showers. I would stay here again.

I would give less than 1 star if i could. We stay here often because of location, however, I believe we are given the room with the broken air condition because we get a good rate through expedia. If anyone ever stays here be sure to not stay in room 3008. I’m almost positive this is the same room we’ve stayed in before and had the same issue. When asked they tell lies like there is no other rooms with a king size bed available. There were less than 20 cars in the parking lot. This hotel has at least 5 floors and at least 30 room per floor. The training at this hotel for their employees must be the lies they tell their guest in order to not provide a room with a working AC. I asked if they could provide a fan and was told no they did not have any. I took a shower using only cold water to try and cook off before trying to sleep. We only needed to stay 1 night. Our drive home will take 10 hours. Hoping we make it home safe, since we did not get a decent night’s sleep. I hope the manager of the hotel gets this review and will respond to me why they cannot or will not fix the AC in their rooms. I paid the hotel directly so they should not say that I need to take this up with expedia.
