★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm not going to lie, the best part about this place is the setting. While a little cramped it's immensely charming. The food is very tasty and the attention is good, the only reason this place doesn't get the full five stars is the price, I can't find a valid reason to justify it. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area but you may want to try another place if you're looking for a regular visit spot...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived at 9:20 am thought they opened at 9:00am and arrived to two ladies mopping and cleaning. We were told to come back at 10:00 since they food wasn't “hot” yet.... we came back at 10 and waited about 10 min and nothing, my husband had to literally almost walk into the kitchen to request that we be seated and given some coffee. Cafe de olla was good but on the sweeter side, could only stomach half of the cup. We asked for 2 quesadillas, one huitlacoche and one chicharrón verde. Both were bad. the amount of the stew was ridiculous, and the chicharrón verde tasted like CUMIN and only cumin and there was no meat at all it was all fat.
Would not recommend, would not be back. Only thing that was awesome was the salsa roja.
