★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un lugar para olvidarse del bullicio de la ciudad, aunque está cerca del pueblo el acceso de terracería lo hace muy tardado, la atención muy buena por parte de los encargados pero si tienen pensado tomar alguna bebida alcohólica compren todo lo necesario antes de llegar a la Quinta porque no hay nada cerca y el taxi super caro $250 de ida y $250 de regreso o más,lleven todo lo que necesiten porque está difícil encontrar algo cerca.
 A place to forget about the hustle and bustle of the city, although it is close to the town, the dirt access makes it very slow, the care of the managers is very good, but if you plan to drink an alcoholic beverage, buy everything you need before arriving at the Fifth because there is nothing nearby and the taxi is super expensive $250 one way and $250 return or more, take everything you need because it is difficult to find something nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Las cabañas están lindas, estas a pie de la laguna,tiene Kayak , los atardeceres y amaneceres se ven espectacular. Te recomiendo llevar tu hilera con todo lo que vallas a consumir de bebidas y antojos ya que no ay donde comprar o te tienes que salir al pueblo ( pero es más comodo que lleves todo). La atención del señor humberto fue de lo mejor ?, super amable y atento.
The cabins are beautiful, you are at the foot of the lagoon, you have Kayak, the sunsets and sunrises look spectacular. I recommend you take your row with everything you are going to consume of drinks and cravings since there is nowhere to buy or you have to go to town (but it is more comfortable that you take everything). Mr. Humberto's attention was the best ?, super friendly and attentive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gran lugar. Perfecto para desconectarte del bullicio y presiones de la ciudad. El muelle hacia la laguna, es un lujo. Da ratos de gran diversion para familia y amigos. Las vistas de día de la laguna muy bellas. Las estrellas de noche, inolvidables. Ojo... No es un lugar lujoso, es un lugar barato, hippie, para grupos grandes. Cómodo, eco friendly y en contacro con la naturaleza.
Great place. Perfect to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city. The pier towards the lagoon is a luxury. It gives moments of great fun for family and friends. The day views of the lagoon very beautiful. The stars at night, unforgettable. Be careful... It's not a luxurious place, it's a cheap place, hippie, for large groups. Comfortable, eco friendly and in contact with nature.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a great time at Quinta Bacalar. We were the only guests (low season, early September), shared great conversations with Humberto and Angelica from QB, and enjoyed our entire stay.
The rooms were clean, the beds VERY comfortable, shower pressure was great (I didnt expect that from such a secluded and eco space, was very pleasantly surprised), the food H & A prepared for us was delicious, and the lagoon was breathtaking.
The whole place was so peaceful and tranquil, it was amazing. We watched the sunrise from a kayak, spent hours watching the stars at the waterfront, listened to music while chilling in the hammocks...
Humberto drove us to Bacalar and on our last day to Chetumal (he charges the same as a taxi driver would, perfectly fine amd a great service). He also recommended a boat tour which we very much enjoyed.
We felt 100 % safe at all times and would definitely come back.
