Quinta Margarita Boho Chic Hotel - 77710 Playa del Carmen

+ Very good service before and during our stay. They are very friendly and try to do their best to make your experience as good as possible. The hotel has a nice size, is very clean and good located. The room is comfortable, has enough space and you can't here any noise from outside. - Breakfast was okay but small. You have dishes in the room wihich you are supposed to use. Eating in your room, on the roof top or in common area. Was absolutely okay but we were surprised the first time.

Great place and even better service, very attentive and helpful. I forgot my iPad in my room after checking out and the staff was kind enough to send a courier to the airport so I can get it back. Looking forward to be back!

Okay this happens to be my wife and I, most favorite boutique in the whole Playa del Carmen area. We found ourselves enjoying not only the rooms that were comfortable, spacious, clean and everything just happened to be in the right spot. We enjoyed the pool facility on the rooftop, the Zen garden and the European breakfast that was offered was just right. Above all the staff was friendly and helpful, you can tell they enjoyed your presence as a guest and they shared so many good things to do in Playa other Carmen and that Yucatan area. We got to enjoy a couple good restaurants that they recommended. Also enjoyed a couple of the local areas that weren't busy, they were more locals than anything else. If you ever have a chance to visit Playa del Carmen we truly recommend Quinta Margarita Boho hotel as one of the best little hidden secrets in that area. Thank you guys for such an amazing experience.

I’m super picky !!about hotels but there isn’t much to choose from in Playa del Carmen which is a beach town. PROS: the property is CLEAN and my room had 2 bathrooms , a sanitizer gel , sofas, a big refrigerator, espresso machine and espresso for free, water, toaster , microwave and a stove !!! Then the upstairs was super cute with a TV, Rocu and a Netflix. And a shower. The staff is very helpful. They have free breakfast and free bikes. There is also a guard up front and keys to come inside the property. Another big plus is there is a laundry next door and you can pay the lady there so that they can wash and fold all your clothes. The pick up is in 24 hours and the price was very affordable!!! CONs: is in front of a club however we were soooo tired from the tours that we slept like babies . Overall we feel that for the value price and amenities this is a deal!!

This hotel is a very cute and pretty boutique hotel. It‘s a 5 min walk from the 5 avenida with loads of restaurants, bars, clubs, cafés, shops, etc and a 10 min walk from the beach with fine white sand and turquoise waters. For check in we got two beer for free and the staff was always very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself has a (tiny) roof top pool and is gated with a security guard at night time, which made us feel safe. The apartment we had had a fully equipped kitchen, sofa, very big bed, tv with netflix, hbo and co, two ACs, fans, very good and fast wifi and toilet / shower with open glass walls (located in the bedroom , so beware of less privacy with your partner :-))). We didn‘t use the included breakfast to be honest, since it only consisted of toast, butter, croissant and a few sweet jams, without any variety of cheeses, breads or salami. This would be a minus, if there weren‘t all these cafés and restaurants around. The main problem instead was the very loud music from the onyx bar right in front of the hotel - they play music every single night until at least 2 am. Also on weekdays. Yesterday it was heavy metal which was really annoying all night. Our room was on the very back end of the hotel and the music was still audible in our bedroom really clearly, which made it hard to fall asleep. We also whitnessed another guest with a bedroom in the front end closer to the bar, checking out earlier because he couldn‘t bear it anymore with his kids. So all in all this is a nice hotel with great cleaning and service if you want to explore playa del carmen and co. I would not recommend it to families with small children or people who like to go to sleep early tho

I've stayed twice at Quinta Margarita and now coming here feels like home. It's a visual treat - great design and aesthetically pleasing tropical references. The staff are warm, friendly and give you a lot of help to make your stay enjoyable and convenient (for e.g. booking a doctor that comes to the hotel to do Covid tests etc). For me this is what gives Quinta Margarita that special extra touch. Their rooms are also spacious and clean. Other bonuses are their nighttime security (which made me feel safe), living so close to 5th Avenue but not being positioned in the hustle & bustle - I really can't recommend this hotel enough! ( :

As so many of the reviews say, the staff were kind and helpful. Regardless of what we asked about, they were ready with a helpful response. The room was very clean and just as beautiful as the photos showed. I was nervous about the music coming from next door because of the other reviews, but was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t disturb our sleep. Not that it was quiet, but it didn’t cause an issue. If you’re nervous, pack some melatonin.

Clean hotel, a little damp as some reviews mention. Nice soap and shampoo, okay bed. We were placed on the first floor and rooms overlook courtyard/lobby so couldn’t open our windows and the room was dark. Not the hotel’s fault, but there is a nightclub right across the street that played very loud music until 2am. Despite the room being quite sound, the music made it too loud to sleep even with white noise playing off my phone. Only stay here if you want to stay up late!
