Amazing intimate resort. Perfect for couples. LGBTQIA+ friendly. Fabulous pools. Beach access. Beautiful rooms. Staff speaks English. Restaurant is great - mainly seafood based. Arrange a romantic dinner on the terrace.

Not a five star hotel. Pool extremely dirty with pieces of floor missing, bottles left from previous guests. We left one night before and were offered a refund for that night, still nothing after 2 months and countless emails.

Service was rushed at dinner. Never asked if we liked our dinner. Wife had duck that was in a sauce that was too sweet to eat. Had good lunches and breakfast, but would go elsewhere for dinner . Did have great poolside service-- thanks Rafael.

My wife and two young kids -9 and 5- live in a city that is cold and miserable in the winter- welcome to lovely Chicago… So once a year, we decide to indulge ourselves and spend a week in a tropical paradise where we can truly relax and where our only worry is that we don’t run out of sunscreen. This winter we decided to visit Huatulco and after a lot of research, we decided to stay at the Quinta Real. If you are looking for a large hotel, with lots of activities and a bunch of loud tourists everywhere, don’t come here. Quinta Real is an absolutely gorgeous smaller resort, the best one in this part of the Mexican Pacific Coast, private and quiet, with outstanding views of Bahía de Tangolunda. We stayed at the Presidential Suite for 6 nights in the middle of January and it was a truly memorable experience: it has two big rooms, a very large open space facing the Pacific Ocean, and its own pool which was perfect for the kids. It takes about 5 minutes to walk down to the main pool and the beach, or you van also take a shuttle to get there. Everything is perfectly maintained, the staff is extremely courteous and professional, and we are already making plans to go back there next winter. An absolutely fantastic place!!!

Nice place but would not return. The property itself is fabulous and our ocean-view suite was a great room. The level of service is not good though for a hotel of this caliber. For example, no concierge to help with things to do in the area, all the other hotels on the beach offer kayaks and paddle boards to use in the bay but this one - the fanciest on the beach - oddly uses some external company who had no availability. The pool was closed our first night by 6 even though hours say until 8, the exit to the beach was locked at 7am and had to call reception to be let out for a morning run. We didn't have much food but what we had was not great. Asked for 2 small bottles of water for the ride to the airport and were asked to pay 100 pesos cash since we had already checked out - quite strange after having just paid $300 USD per night... Overall felt like many things we tried to do were a hassle rather than being taken care of. In summary, stay here if you want a nice room and beach and a very quiet stay. But do not expect anything near 5 star service.

Evening drinks at the Sky Lounge. We were not hotel guests but taxied up to the lounge for drinks after dinner elsewhere. Beautiful secluded location, great service from Christina. Only one other couple there and once they had finished and gone, our group of 8 had a private party with YouTube video entertainment. Christina picked great music and let us pick some as well. Very reasonably priced especially given the opulence of the hotel and grounds.

This place is Beautiful!!! If you are looking for a relaxing vacation this is the place! But if you want a party time then I would not recommend this hotel. They do not have any activities or games, music, dancing or anything like that. This place is Peaceful! The service is amazing! Everyone treats you like king/queen they are very attentive and will get you whatever you need.. The food is OK nothing crazy in my opinion they could do better... The pool area is very clean and relaxing we spent one whole day at the pool and we loved every second of it. All the rooms have a view. Great to watch the sunrise every morning. The room was clean and spacious.comfortable bed.. Overall this place was amazing!!
