★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place is beautiful, scenery is great for any event. Dinner was OK, but portion was really small, they only handed one basket of bread and I was left early hungry.
Restaurant service is the worst, they had only one waiter which was also cashier and barman. There was only one lady in the kitchen, it took her 40 minutes to prepare 2 baguettes and one fruit cup. Next day restaurant was really crowded and employees were not nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There’s some things you need to be aware of this place. Number one is one hour and 30 minutes away from Guadalajara. If there is traffic in the city it will be two hours. So plan ahead with the rental car. Or get ready to spend a lot of money and Uber’s. The place is just alright for events. But the hotel is definitely overrated. The hotel usually don’t have hot water. Half of the time you will get just warm water. The furniture is very cheap. And the owner does not care about a good impression when you come to the hotel. And the rooms don’t look clean. The staff is under train. The restaurant food is not bad at all and The chef for the events is very good. But overall the place is no more than one star specially because they are not worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros: nice place, nice view of the lake. Cons: cold, horrible food. Nothing around to get anything else. We got sick from the breakfast, and dinner was cold and made without any idea of what dish should taste and like.
