★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really wanted to love this place, though was left pretty disappointed. The flavor and quality of the food doesn’t keep up with the quality of the service, nor prices. We did the tasting menu for lunch, with a bottle of white wine. The last two desserts were very special, but everything else was ‘whatever’ and lacked flavor compared to your average restaurant in Mexico City. For USD $250 / person including a bottle of wine, every dish should be superb, not just the last two desserts. Service was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While the restaurant looks humble, you will get a special experience. I had the tasting menu. Overall, they were good, but I didn't get the mind-blowing experience I have had at Michellin restaurants in different countries. The price is not cheap and I'd expect something more creative with fresh ingrients. It did affect my appetite when a lady constantly mopped the floor at the entrance. I'd try it out especially if you liked Mexican food. But, the tastes are not as amazing as what they looked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We secured a reservation after a number of recommendations. Excited to try out the menu, we went with the full course tasting menu. The restaurant was nice and vibrant, and the staff was incredible courteous and lovely. Now onto the food — while we appreciated the diverse menu, outside of a couple of dishes (the green mole with chips and the ox tacos), the rest of the menu was fairly bland and very lackluster. After spending $400USD, we felt like there was a lot more to be desired, and felt like Pujol was a much better bang for the buck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing, amazing experience. We were seated in a kitchen experience, watching the chefs work was just amazing. For such an intricate and complex meal the chefs worked so smoothly and were not rushed anywhere, it was a well oiled machine.
We did the tasting menu, 1 vegetarian and 1 normal. It was surprising that the veg and non veg meals were SO different. It almost felt as we were at two different restaurants because the flavor profiles were so different. That being said, the food was quite amazing and delicious, 10 courses and just hitting all my taste buds in different ways. I will say the service seemed a little "fast". The downtime in between courses was surprisingly quick.
Talking about service I felt like the attention to detail was lacking. When they put down different utensils for us they were often misaligned and haphazardly placed. The servers were very nice but didn't really spend much time building a relationship with us to enhance the experience. I think this was the difference between a 5 and 4 star. For such an expensive meal there should have been a little more attention to detail.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing experience and delicious food! We came for the 10 course tasting and was not disappointed! Actually it was so good we came back the next day to try the rest of the menu à la carte. We came due to it being one of the top 50 best restaurants in the world (along with another restaurant near by) and we definitely like the food here better after trying both places!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here for my birthday, ordered the tasting menu, and had an amazing experience. First off they modified the menu to suit my needs (vegetarian) and they did a wonderful job of accommodating without any sense of compromise. The food was rich, vibrant, and inventive. I would recommend Quintonil to anyone!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best restaurant experiences of my life. The chef and staff were exceptional, knowledgeable, and warm. The food journey was a beautifully composed narrative that was inventive and playful while referencing a variety of local food regions. One of the best wine/beer pairings I’ve enjoyed. I will be back—thank you! Also WONDERFUL about my food allergy!
