Destaca la actividad comercial de este sitio, un excelente lugar para comprar souvenirs.
Su gastronomía es de lo mejor, Quiroga, en ese aspecto, es la esencia de Michoacán. Claro que destacan sus carnitas, pero no se debe menospreciar a las corundas, el pozole, el atole y los tamales, el menudo o pancita, enchiladas, etc.
Hace falta mejorar/modernizar el andador gastronómico que está a un costado del semáforo. Y también el mercado que está a las afueras del templo de San Diego.
