Food is simple and well prepared. Tender beef and pulled pork sandwiches were very tasty but come with no sides. Add fries or salad. Live music was by far the best in PDC! One very talented vocalist and guitarist made the evening perfect!

Pretty good BBQ. It's on a quieter part of 5th Avenue which is a good thing to me. We had a brisket sandwich and a pulled pork sandwich. While both were good, the brisket is better. It tasted like they put the same sauce on both sandwiches. It's a little smokey, but also has some tanginess. With all of that, the highlight is the Guacamole Rack which is brisket burnt ends on guacamole with some chips. This was amazing together. After all this, the service is good and the price fair. I will eat there again.

Terrible experience. The girl o served us clearly didn’t want to work at the restaurant, she was rude from the beginning. The music was to loud so wasn’t possible to talk. We ordered a combo, they didn’t have fries or sweet potatoes. We tried to change the bread and the waiter told us that wasn’t possible. We talked with other employee and he change that in a second. The meat at the combo was cold, the bread wasn’t from the day, the sides wasn’t goods… Was the most expensive meal that we had in playa del Carmen and the worst one!

Best barbecue I have had in a long time. We will be going back very soon.

Love this BBQ place. The owner told me he learned to cook BBQ in Texas, so this is very authentic "American/Texas" style. We have been here a few times, and love it. I could eat here everyday. Everything was spot on for us. We have eaten the pony platter a few times (shown below), and recommend it. You get ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and three sides. This will feed two hungry people no problem. We love the sweet potato sticks (bastones de camote), corn (elote), and the mac and cheese. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality. They have nice, live music at times as well. Don't go super late in the day. When they run out of something, it's done for the day. There was a birthday party the same day we celebrated our anniversery. This was a nice place to celebrate for sure. Bring your family.

I've been here several times now. They prepare their food with passion and care, incredible service, very personable. All the dishes are great, their BBQ sauces are divine! Meat is always tender and the menu is good as there's lots of different side options too. Great for sharing, they're combo menu was perfect enough for 2 or 3 people and you can sample a lot and have the variety. Pet friendly, kid friendly, indoor and outdoor seating! good spot to visit. Lovely management too!

This is a MUST VISIT place when in Playa del Carmen! The food was absolutely delicious ? so good that my son ordered a 2nd rack of the babyback ribs! 3 different sauces.. one traditional..yummy.. one a lil sweet n spicy.. also delicious and one spicy.. if course delicious! The baby back ribs and brisket were super tender as was the beef rib as well as huge ? the staff was super friendly and very quick service

This place is the hidden secret of playa. Super great energy. The owner is from Argentina and knows his meats! The staff is excellent and the music is perfect. Went 4 times in 7 days. And… I’m picky. From Denver and Duke university. We like great things
