It’s a very nice place with stunning views. The people are friendly. Nice and quiet place for sure, we enjoyed it! ? If you don’t mind the dirty room, the views are stunning and very peaceful with warm showers. A place to relax and enjoy nature. Just know it is not the cleanest..

This place is just absolutely wonderful but I should outline to you what you should expect. If you are expecting a 5 star boutique hotel experience this place is not for you. If you are expecting an authentic, rustic experience this place is a must visit. Our cabin was built our of stucco, it was very clean, mosquito free and everything worked fine. Yes it is basic, but everything is made from natural materials so it is not going to be like a building in the city. I loved it. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. They kindly allowed us to cook chicken on their grill, providing wood for us and they even sharpened my machete which I really appreciate. I was also taken on a tour of their cocoa plantation which was a beautiful experience. The blind worker and his son/nephew were so generous with their time, knowledge and love of natural flora and fauna. It was a privilege to be with them and learn about their natural environment. The owner is also very friendly and shared his knowledge of cocoa with us over dinner. Dinner was fantastic, the chicken was from their farm, the fish was from their lake and everything was incredibly tasty!! They free roam all their animals around the ranch so expect to bump into turkeys, chickens, cats and dogs, all of which are friendly! Their lake is a beautiful place to sit and relax as are the small pools they have by each cabin. The only downside is that they are located near the main highway so there is some noise at night from trucks and cars which does take away from the beautiful, natural setting. 100% would come back and visit. The town of Malpasito (20 minute drive) is also fantastic and full of friendly, helpful people! Thank you so much!!! :))) ❤️

It was a nice surprise! We thought we would sleep in a tent with two single beds. Turned out we were upgraded to a small cabin, probably because of the low season. It was quite cute and nice view out our window. The pool isn't super clean but I swim in it anyway. I couldn't figure out how to get to the lake, might have been further than I thought. It's quite luscious forest with a lot of animals and birds waking you up like you're in a jungle. Only thing is true the highway's not very far.
