Cute little shop selling mostly homemade sauces and oils. Very nice owner. You can taste the sauces and oils before you buy them.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to purchase organic sauces, snacks and fresh produce. Their products can be found in multiple local restaurants and mini supers. They also have a good selection of jewelry, soap and woodwork, all handcrafted by local artisans. We made multiple stops here during our visit to Mahahual, and most of our meals were flavored with their sauces, and our bags were packed with many more to give as gifts (and for our own continued use at home as well ;)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous little shop, amazing selection of delicious hot sauces, snacks, and locally made handicrafts. It will help if you speak Spanish, and the woman who runs the place will gladly give you a little tour, show you where they grow and smoke the peppers, and other activities on their land (also better to wear pants if you want to take a look around, for the bugs and shrubs!).
You can't miss it on the road, right where streamers of CDs dangle off the trees reflecting the sunlight. Worth as many stops as you have space in your luggage to fill!
