★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El lugar está increíblemente hermoso. Hay que tener carro propio de preferencia para llegar ya que son 3 kilómetros colina abajo de la carretera. El camino al rancho es mágico. Las cabañas son hermosas y el lugar es perfecto para cualquier retiro posible. Es un lugar verdaderamente bonito.
The place is incredibly beautiful. You must preferably have your own car to get there since it is 3 kilometers down the hill from the road. The road to the ranch is magical. The cabins are beautiful and the setting is perfect for any possible retreat. It is a truly beautiful place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Afgelegen plek met enkele huisjes. Via een zandpad 3 km rijden, goed te doen ook met sedan auto. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Echter zoals overal in Mexico werd ook hier gebouwd met geluid van cirkelzagen etc. Terwijl je in het bos zit voor rust. Geen lakens, pas na vragen een laken gekregen om tussen de smoezelige dekens te doen. In de nacht koud. Vuur was nodig in avond en ochtend. Wel romantisch. Heerlijke warme douche op gijser dus voldoende warm water. Alles bij elkaar aan te bevelen en hopelijk stop bouw lawaai snel.
Secluded place with a few houses. Drive 3 km via a sandy path, also doable with a sedan car. Friendly reception. However, as everywhere in Mexico, construction was also done here with the sound of circular saws etc. While you are sitting in the forest for rest. No sheets, only after asking received a sheet to put between the grubby blankets. Cold at night. Fire was needed in the evening and morning. Quite romantic. Lovely hot shower on geser so plenty of hot water. All in all to be recommended and hopefully construction noise will stop soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Idealic place, it's a 10/15min drive to get to, mostly on a gravel road. Moto taxis (tuk tuks) are available in the centre, about 150 pesos one way. We stayed in the "Tiny House" for 2 nights, it was quaint and rustic. Peaceful place, lots of roaming farm animals. There was some construction on going on the farm, but it wasn't too intrusive. It is cold at night so bring extra layers, bed is also a bit small and pretty hard. There's a wood stove which they provide free wood for which is nice. They also sell some basics from their house (wine/beer/cigs/tortillas etc.) But bring all your own food and water if you want to eat there. There is basic wifi there.
4 stars instead of 5 due to an issue we had where the stove flue fell off during the night and filled the place with smoke. ?
