Rancho Mi Chaparrita - 63734 Sayulita

The horseback riding/tequila tasting excursion is one of the best things to do in Sayulita! I highly recommend it. Right from the start, it's a memorable adventure! A truck picked us up in town where we'd bought the ticket, and we rode in the truck bed with four other tourists like we were going on safari or something. Arriving at the ranch, we met Carlos our guide. He introduced us to our horses (mine was originally introduced as "widow-maker" but I was mostly relieved to learn his real name is Violin) and we took off on an incredibly scenic ride, first through the jungle (which Carlos called, aptly, "Jurassic Park") and then onto the beach, which the basic among you will recognize as a filming location for Bachelor in Paradise. Throughout all if it, our photographer chased us on a dirt bike, riding ahead to get photos of everyone at lots of different locations. I enjoyed this because A) that job looks fun and I was living vicariously through the photographer, and B) I felt like we had paparazzi. The photos cost extra, but you can get them via a airdrop right on the spot, they turned out great, and I think they're worth the extra money. Upon return, we wrapped up the adventure with a tequila tasting! They served great stuff and my wife and I would have bought some bottles, but we didn't have a checked bag to get it back to the States. Thanks to Carlos and our photographer (sorry, don't remember the name) for a great experience and great memories!

Woww!! Best experience I've ever been on. We had a group of 10 girls from a bachelorette party for ATVing. Our group was inexperienced and we were nervous before, but Manu and Ricky were such incredible guides that we were crushing the trails in no time! Such a fun experience every step of the way and we were very well taken care of. Couldn't say enough wonderful things about this experience. The tequila tasting at the end was a cherry on top and very knowledgeable staff. Thank you again Ricky, Manu and Omar for an incredible day!

So much fun! Our guides Giovanni, Andrew, Ernesto and Daniel (golden boy) were hilarious and made us feel safe enough to be brave attempting all sorts of great tricks which their photographer got amazing photos of! Tequila tasting and lunch rounded out our morning. Smiles all around! Thank you ????

The ATV tour with Ricki was probably the best tour I’ve ever been on! I felt safe the whole time, but also it was really exciting and interesting. Very cool route through a little bit of mountain, river, city, and jungle, with amazing views. It was awesome. Book with Ricki!

We signed up for the horseback riding and canopy tour. Both were super fun with an entertaining/informative tequila tasting in between. Everyone was super friendly and ensured you were having a great time. Carlos led the ride and Ernesto, Jovani, and Memo were our Zipline guides. All we very funny and clearly love leading these tours. Also got to enjoy the pool at the end to cool off. Next time I'll book not on a Monday so I can try the restaurant too!

My friend and I had an amazing time on the ATV tour with Memo as our guide. It was such a fun experience and he made sure everyone's safety came first, which is so important in these activities. Memo made it so much fun, we couldn't have asked for more. The views he took us to were incredible- especially driving the ATV through Sayulita...just wow!! And Pablo did such a fantastic job taking pictures during our ride too--he really knows how to make people feel like VIPs. I would recommend doing this in the morning because the sun can get pretty intense later in the day. Rancho Mi Chaparrita was simply amazing and is the place to go if you are looking for a fun experience that will leave great memories. They picked us up from our hotel on time and the entire staff treated us like VIPs throughout our trip which made it an unforgettable experience that we won't soon forget! This was the highlight of my trip and I can't wait to come back for more!

Ricky was a ROCKSTAR!!! I’ve done ATV tours everywhere and this was hands down the BEST! Loved that it was a little off the path and more challenging. Ricky showed us the city in all the best ways and coached us the whole way so we also felt very safe. Mi Chapparta Ranch was very friendly and all the vehicles and animals were so well taken care! Shout out to Pablo our fun photographer, chef, shoemaker ?

Great way to spend some time away from the beach! Ricky is the best and the route was a great mix of trails and roads with a little creek run in the middle. Definitely worth the cost. I would recommend the 9am time as it’s not so hot, Also being early you may get lucky like we did and be the only ones on your tour. We are all experienced riders and Ricky set a great pace which wouldn’t have been possible with inexperienced riders. If your on the fence just do it!
