Como dato relevante, la iglesia cuenta con un viacrucis elaborado de manera artesanal con técnicas de papel, es el único en todo el municipio de Noria de Ángeles y por ello es considerado una obra artesanal. Además, el templo es una de las construcciones con más años entre las localidades vecinas. La plaza cuenta con una fuente y un jardín que se ha conservado evitando modificaciones que deformen o cambien la apariencia original.
