Its A Very Confy Place To Stay!

The only hotel in El Salto, Durango... good rooms and restaurant food.

It may be the coziest place in town. Service is great and it is beautifully decorated. Music is relaxing.

Here are the problems I had with the Real del Bosque when I stayed there on November 27, 2017: * The hotel desk clerk said that there was only 1 room left in the hotel and all the other rooms were booked. I was charged the second highest rate that was listed on the board, which was about 50% more than the single room rate that I should have been charged. I observed that the parking lot was less than half full and the hotel and restaurant were both very quiet. I have little doubt that his claim the hotel was full was not true. * The bathroom smelled like a sewer; when I complained the manager said he would take care of it (he did not do so). * The wifi signal in my room (#36) was so weak that I could not access the Internet Here are the positive things that kept me from rating the Real del Bosque the minimum value: * Although I had to ask the desk clerk twice, one of the staff came to my room and made a roaring fire and left a large stack of wood * In the restaurant I had a good meal and good service
