★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I did not stay, but I will definitely keep it in mind for my next trip to Mexico!…I was able to eat there and shop for souvenirs as the place is run by a Mayan cooperative (from what the tour guide explained). The food was amazing!! I was stuffed, but I just wanted to keep eating ;) Their handicrafts were of good quality and very affordable, I’m in love with everything I purchase from them!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brief stop on the way to Chichen Itza, lunch was delicious, frozen margaritas to die for and service is great!
Probably one of the best places to get handmade souvenirs (seashells, obsidian, leather, semi precious stones or jewelry) and support the Mayan community as the prices are so much better than in Playa or Cancun.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very interesting experience and opportunity to support a people directly. Be respectful of their property or their dogs will chase you out, no joke.
Food was not good however and far from what I would consider authentic cuisine. Probably what they could manage for the price.
