Es recomendable acudir temprano y usar protección solar pues es una zona cálida y muy soleada. Además se recomienda el uso de repelente de mosquitos.
Regularmente tiene guías que le proporcionan detalles de cada pirámide o construcción y sus posibles usos y actividades.
En la zona de Zempoala es uno de los lugares que deben visitarse
