EN 1858 EN EL POBLADO DE LOURDES EN FRANCIA SE REGISTRO 18 PARICIONES DE LA VIRGEN MARIA A UNA JOVEN LLAMADA BERNADETTE SOUBIROUS EN UNA GRUTA A ORILLAS DEL RIO GAVE PAU, TAL FUE LA CONMOCION QUE GENERO ESTE HECHO QUE EL PAPA PIO IX AUTORIZA SU DEVOCION EN 1862, A LA MUERTE DE BERNADETTE EL PAPA PIO XI LA PROCLAMA COMO SANTA EN 1933, DESDE ENTONCES SE HA CONVERTIDO EN UNO DE LOS SANTUAROS MAS VENERADOS EN EL MUNDO.
