★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Место с хорошим видом на оба вулкана. Это приют для посетителей парка. По одним сведениям ночёвка в нем включена в стоимость входного билета. Нас же у подножья попросили заплатить 60 песо за двоих(якобы за одну ночь), сек не дали. Входной билет стоит порядка 30 песо. В приюте 3 комнаты, в каждой 4 двухъярусные кровати. Есть туалет. Вода в бочках не питьевая. Последнее место где можно купить воды и еды это касса нац парка на Перевале Кортеса,
 A place with a good view of both volcanoes. This is a haven for visitors to the park. According to some sources, an overnight stay in it is included in the entrance ticket price. At the bottom, we were asked to pay 60 pesos for two (allegedly for one night), they did not give us a second. The entrance ticket costs about 30 pesos. The shelter has 3 rooms, each with 4 bunk beds. There is a toilet. The water in the barrels is not potable. Es un lugar básico para descansar tiene cuartos con 8 literas que tienen colchoneta, pero es recomendable llevar tu sleeping algunos cuartos no tienen luz, pero la luz que entra de la luna ayuda para no estar totalmente a oscuras, tienen chimenea pero no hay leña en ocasiones. Tiene un baño para hombres y otro para mujer, no tienen regaderas y tienes que bajarle con una cubeta de agua. El lavamanos no funciona.
En resumen cumple con su función básica, y es recomendable mantenerlo limpio si vas, ya que al parecer no le dan mantenimiento muy seguido.
Tienes una vista muy padre desde ahí, por las noches dependiendo de la temporada puede bajar mucho la temperatura.
We have been 3 times already. It is a basic place to rest, it has rooms with 8 bunk beds that have a mattress, but it is advisable to bring your sleeping bag.Some rooms do not have light, but the light that comes in from the moon helps not to be totally in the dark, they have a fireplace but there is no firewood in occasions. It has a bathroom for men and another for women, they do not have showers and you have to lower it with a bucket of water. The sink is not working.
In short, it fulfills its basic function, and it is advisable to keep it clean if you go, since apparently they do not maintain it very often.
You have a very cool view from there, at night depending on the season the temperature can drop a lot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Al final es un refugio donde puedes entrar si te encuentras en peligro en la noche o heladas, para llegar no está difícil y ya está muy marcado el sendero que sale desde la joya

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two starts as it is much better than the refuge of Pico de Orizaba. But no running water, very dirty mattresses.... I don't get it why the local or regional government doesn't charge a bit more to allow for a decent stay, instead of these overly primitive conditions as if it is located very far from access by a decent road. This is not the case, you can park your car next to the refuge.
