★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Muy buena vista! pero es un lugar peligroso para permanecer mucho tiempo. Evítalo, ya que se han reportado numerosos asaltos en paraje cercano "Trancas". Uno hace poco 28 de marzo de 2018.
 Really nice view! but it is a dangerous place to stay long. Avoid it, since numerous assaults have been reported in nearby "Trancas". One recently March 28, 2018.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El refugio se encuentra a unos metros arriba del canal de agua, a 1km de Nexcoalango. El refugio, además de tener una excelente vista hacia la abuela Iztaccíhutal, tiene chimenea, ventanas y puerta. Para protegerte de las inclemencias del tiempo es un excelente refugio.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Relicto de los refugios distribuidos en la ruta, pese al tiempo y el intemperismo se ha mantenido durante casi un siglo, dotando de seguridad y hermosas vistas a quienes lo visitan. La comunidad de montañistas deberíamos hacer algo por rehabilitarlos y cuidar de su integridad estructural, que aun permanece en buen estado. Buenas rutas !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El parque es muy bonito, en cuanto al refugio tiene una excelente vista, aunque está un poco sucio y graffiteado, hace mucho frío de noche así que recomiendo que vayan bien tapados.
