★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a scooter. Looked a bit rough and rusty, but was totally trusty. Seriously, no problems and zipped up and down the island a few times. Was kind enough to let me drop it off after hours, even though I ended up not needing to!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cheap, no-frills shop to rent your golf cart for the day on Isla Mujeres. The rate is 700 pesos for the entire day, which is much cheaper than any vendor right outside the ferry terminal. You need to surrender your drivers license as a deposit. If you’ve never driven a golf cart before, keep in mind that this shop offers no instruction.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extorted me for my driver's license because I was a few mins "late". Wanted to charge me 400 pesos for just a few mins, when the cart is 900 for the day. It was only noon too, before a big rush. Stay away from here, seem to wanna keep your ID/deposit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rented 3 golf carts. They all sat 4 people. It was 900 pesos cash for each golf cart for the day. The employees were friendly and quick. We didn't have any problems with the golf carts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got in and out with a golf cart quickly. Got a 3-row cart that worked well for us. No problems getting a cart or returning it. Took away one star because having a two-row golf cart vs three-row was twice the price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was super fast and easy to rent a golf cart. It was a spontaneous decision to rent it - and 5 min later we had our cart. You also get some extra time as „tolerance” so you don’t need to be strict with time you end your hire.

Lapped the island in the golf cart within 25 minutes. Took every speed bump and off road terrain remarkably well. Was probably the fastest golf cart that day as it overtook every adversary in its sights. Definitely sounded like it had an after market straight pipe with the amount of backfiring it did. Just needs a dump valve and a K&N air filter and it will be the hottest cart out there. It also cut corners like a hot knife through butter, probably because each wheel was looking in a slightly different direction. Could recommend 10/10. Will be purchasing one for Calgary when I get back.
