Pros: 1. He solved the problem (start button) and installed a RAM memory (last one I brought him). Cons: 1. The service took more than a month to complete. He said it was because the material had been sent wrong and he had to order it again abroad and because of customs. This was still understandable. 2. Communication is bad. I would write him a message and sometimes it would take him a day to reply, short messages of two or three words. 3. We agreed on a price and in the end he charged me more because "I had to open the equipment more to put the RAM memory in it." In total, he charged $ 1,400.00 to change the home button and put in a RAM memory (which I had brought him). 4. When I was going to pick up the equipment, I wrote to him the day before that I would stop by. Even so, the day I arrived he told me that he was out of his premises, and that it would take an hour and a half to two hours to arrive, because "I had not confirmed him." 5. When I paid him, it seemed like he was collecting change. He didn't flinch from giving me the incomplete change, nor did he offer an apology. Nor did he offer to get change, nor did he tell me to bring him the exact amount. 6. I told him that we could check the equipment right there and he told me that it had already been left, only that it had been discharged and after turning it on, it turned off and he could not check it. That we could not review it because it would have to go to your home. When I left the computer for review, he had offered to let him have the charger and he said he had it. So I had to check it at my home. 7. The worst of all was that when I got to my home, I realized that he gave me the equipment with missing screws, and the ones he placed did not correspond. Basically, he removed the screws from the area under the stickers (hoping that, I don't know, maybe I didn't realize it) and put some (which did not correspond) in the visible area, which were also forcibly inserted, no they remained completely because they did not correspond in this part. I commented on this via message and once again he did not answer me. I dialed him and he said that "I would have to buy the screws because it had been open for a long time." After I told him that I had taken it with screws, in the end he offered to change and replace them, but he has not written to me again to comment that he has already obtained them.

I have two opinions regarding the work you did. I changed the hard disk (SSD 240gb) and it was quite fast but it was expensive. And a detail that did not quite convince me is that it had a 1 GB RAM which I am sure it did not bring. He tried to convince me that it sure was the original because it was an old model. Which is not possible because I have already reviewed those models and none have such a small memory. I commented to him that he was almost certain that it had 8 GB and he said that he did not believe. That he didn't need it anyway because of the DD. For less I solved the problem.

I don't know why instead of doing things well to have a loyal clientele, they are dishonest. Better to find another reliable computer repair place. It's a shame because this place is close to me because I live in Escandón, two blocks from this dishonest place where they "fix computers."
