Me quedé unos días con Don Arnulfo, que me hizo de guía, unos recorridos espectaculares por este pedazo de selva protegida por esta comunidad y que debería ser ejemplo en todo México. Mi total agradecimiento por su labor y por compartirla! Experiencia de vivir unos días con esta comunidad 100% recomendable! I am a cave diving guide in the cenotes of the Riviera Maya and I know how to recognize an excellent job like the one they do in this ecological reserve. I stayed a few days with Don Arnulfo, who made me a guide, some spectacular tours of this piece of jungle protected by this community and which should be an example throughout Mexico. En una segunda visita, fue posible acceder a la reserva. Es un lugar muy limpio, y es importante mantenerlo así. Por ningún motivo se debe ingresar sólo o sin guía a la reserva ya que el camino puede ser peligroso sin la guía adecuada. Por lo regular solo hay un guía. Cómo recomendación, preguntar con algún vecino de la comunidad para encontrar un guía, quién le cobrará $50.00 por persona. Y le explicará acerca de esta importante reserva. Si te gusta la naturaleza, este es el lugar ideal para ti. Recuerda no dejar basura en tu recorrido. No te arrepentirás de visitarlo. Bad service. Little staff I walk in bad conditions. Es un lugar magnífico para olvidarte de todo. Los recorridos los hacen los del pueblo con un grupo llamado "anolis". Los encuentras en las cabañas Encantadas del mismo municipio de benito Juárez. La entrada es de 50 pesos por persona y tienes derecho a meterte a la última cascada a nadar. Desconozco cuanto tiempo tienes permitido quedarte pero yo me quedé 2 horas y no hubo problema alguno. Si están de paseo por las cabañas no pueden faltar a este increíble lugar tan poco conocido. It's a magical place, the whole route is between the forest, in the middle of the jungle. The tours are done by the people with a group called "anolis". You find them in the Encantadas cabins of the same municipality of Benito Juarez. Admission is 50 pesos per person and you have the right to get into the last waterfall to swim. I do not know how long you are allowed to stay but I stayed 2 hours and there was no problem. If you are walking through the cabins, you can not miss this incredible little known place.
