★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The condo was just the perfect size. The pool is beautiful but it is completely shaded so don't count on tanning the pool. It feels nice and safe. Not too far from town.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The condo we rented was fairly cheap because we stayed an extended time than usual. The owner was very helpful to us in anyway she was able to provide. Also the neighborhood is quite a cute little community in itself. A few things that were annoying however was that the place we stayed had construction going on in the small backyard they do have which I understand isn't always there but for us it was a downside. Also the Internet in our condo was near to terrible, it would take over ten minutes just to download a 50mb app! All in all though the owner and the community helped us looked pass those things and we still would recommend staying here, especially if you are visiting for a longer time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All of our friends moved there, it's gated, but perimeter is chain link... has a decent shaded pool, and the charm ends there. Garbage pick up is from large bins at end of streets, you'll need to ask for gas or drinking water delivery, or even pizza, call front gate. Dogs bark more than elsewhere because most residents leave them home alone when touring, working or at beach. Palma Real was built in 2015, first gated community in the heart of PoMo (not including reclusive Bucaneros off hwy), and now there are 8. People like the false sense of security and since covid, rents dropped somewhat starting at about 700usd a month depending on furnishings and how close you are to the pool or a corner etc.
