Restaurant Bar Cana-Nah - Muna

Don't speak English but some tips on their menu and the food is great! They only take cash. The location listed on Google maps is incorrect. It's up the road maybe 2 miles or so from the entrance to Uxmal ruins but on the same side.

The food was simply amazing! ... I had the cochinita pibil... the texture of the meat was to die for.... so fresh.. and the servers were so attentive.

We ate here after our visit to the ancient ruins of uxmal. Food was delicious. We ordered choc puc, cochinita pibil, and agua de chaya. Service was fast and the waiter very friendly!

Our lunch was included with a tour of Uxmal and Kabah. Everything was good, and the Cochinita Pibil was particularly delicious. Would definitely eat here again. Update: I had Conchita Pibil at several other restaurants after eating here and none could match their's. I wish I could replicate it at home.

We stopped here after visiting the archeological site at Uxmal. The Cochinita Pibil was excellent. Also, the poc-Chuc, both delicious Yucatán dishes. We topped it off with tasty flan and crema español. A must stop for a well priced and excellent lunch. The margaritas are yummy, too. Thanks to our guide, Jorge, for suggesting it.

Very delicious. I think this is the best food I’ve had this trip. They had a meal deal where you get a soup or salad, a meat dish, and a dessert for 180 pesos, ~$9, or a single meat dish for 120 pesos. It’s a lot of food for $9, and I think it’s the best food I’ve had so far this trip. Sopa de lima is always good. I also had cochinitas pibil and crema espanola. I had Chaya con piña for a drink and it was wonderful. The cochinitas was delicious and was cooked in the ground. Everything was organic and all the food is comes from the area, even the eggs. If you go to Uxmal, defiantly make a food stop here for lunch or dinner. We went to Uxmal at 8 am and stopped here around 2 pm for lunch and there was hardly anyone here. The service is great too. My husband ordered poc chuc. I think the poc chuc is my favorite but the cochinitas was really good too.

Nice place near the Uxmal Resort Maya. It was empty when I got there at 12:30 but quickly filled with tourists from Uxmal. I enjoyed the atmosphere and outside dining. I tried the Pollo Pibil, which was fall-off-the-bone good and perfectly seasoned with paprika and other regional spices. It included rice, black beans, cooked vegetables, avocado and corn tortillas. Outstanding! Pro tip: try the lemonade. You can thank me later.

This place is a nice alternative to the factory restaurant that you can find next to the ruins. The food was nice and there is, although near the noisy road, is quite relaxing and peaceful scenery.
