About Restaurant Black Forest
Before migrating to Mexico all four of them lived in the Schwarzwald region in the southwest of Germany. This mountainous region in the state of Baden Württemberg is most famous for the “Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte“, the “Schwarzwälder Schinken” and most importantly the “Kuckucksuhr“. The literal English translation for Schwarzwald is “Black Forest” although in context with the true meaning in German “Dark Forest” would be more appropriate.
Now with over 20 Years in the business we are proud to look back and see the many content guests we had and the long lasting friendships that developed over all these years. When we arrived here in Mexico we would never have thought that this would be such an wonderful experience for us and for that we are truly grateful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We absolutely love this restaurant. The food is always delicious and true German style. How can you go wrong with 2 for 1 schnitzel dinner which includes red cabbage and homemade spaetzle. We are going back on Wednesday for Rinde Rouladen and hopefully apple strudel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Schnitzel Baden Baden was outstanding as advertised. The Caesar salad is made from scratch according to the server, and tasted like it - quite good if you do the anchovies like you should. Nice atmosphere, great service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent meal with friends. Bratwurst was very good. As was the schnitzel. Onion soup too. Topped off with apple strudel and vanilla ice cream. Relaxed, clean, a nice little temporary get away from Mexico.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Group of 6, we ate in the “open air” area of the restaurant so very pleasant temperature. 2 for 1 Schnitzel evening so quite busy. Get a reservation for sure! Excellent schnitzel with spätzle and rotkohl (red cabbage ). Apfelstrudel with ice cream dessert.
